An original watercolour painting depicting a trio of Koi Carp. I had fun using wet on wet techniques for the Koi markings. Inspired by Japanese prints, the piece is called 'Trio of Perseverance' as Koi are known for swimming against the current and overcoming obstacles. Koi symbolise strength, courage and perseverance.
 
The painting measures 16x12" and is painted on heavy weight 600gsm, cold pressed watercolour paper. The frame is a black frame, measuring 16x20" with a soft white mount attached using the hinge method.
